A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a significant moment in a young person’s life. Not just a rite of passage, it’s just as special for their family and friends, a time to be surrounded by love as they take that all-important step towards adulthood and responsibility. 

The importance of this day cannot be underestimated, and you’ll want a storyteller you can rely on. It’s been my privilege to be present at many Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and I would love to do the same for you . I’m an expert at putting everyone at ease, helping them relax and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

I’m an experienced Bar and Bat Mitzvah photographer and you can trust me to document the Bar or Bat Mitzvah at every stage. I can be in the synagogue for the rehearsals as well as at the reception and party, including the candle-lighting, prayers and blessings, the Israeli dancing and all the speeches. With me in the room you can relax in the knowledge that I will be capturing every emotion, every reaction and the sheer joy of the celebration.

As with all my photography services I will meet with you well in advance to discuss what kind of photos you’re looking for. I love to know all the little things about you and your child. What are the special things that you love about them? What do they love doing when they’re on their own? What do you enjoy seeing them do? My goal is to get to know you and the family well before the main event, so I can find out who everyone is and make sure they’re included in the photos. 

Then on the day I’m committed to making sure you, the Bar or Bat Mitzvah, and the rest of your family are totally relaxed. I will move around the room discreetly and unobtrusively, capturing the beaming smiles on all your faces and creating photos that will take you back to the sights and sounds of the day, images that you will treasure for the rest of your lives.

We can include the formal family group photos as well as more candid shots of the guests enjoying the fun and frenzy of the party as they eat, drink, dance, socialise and celebrate. I will also make sure I photograph the star of the show in all their finery before things get too hectic!

A week after the event I’ll send you a slideshow of the highlights. Then about two weeks after that you’ll be able to view the images via a private online gallery. I can also create a printed proof book that can be colour co-ordinated to your colour scheme or theme. A new family heirloom!
