My love of photography began when I received my first camera
at the age of seven and I have been snapping away ever since.
I started going on expeditions with my dad as I felt I wanted to capture the pretty surrounding countryside and then realised that by taking a photograph this enabled me to freeze one moment in time forever. Now that I have a young family of my own, I realise just how quickly time passes … and the need to capture every special moment.
I studied photography at Birmingham City University and have been lucky enough to work for some amazing companies, such as Teletext and Getty Images, which gave me the opportunity to work as a Photo Editor and Photographer utilising my photographic and editorial skills.
I have had work published on Vogue.com, CNTraveller.com and GlamourMagazine.com, as well as in LJN.
I also work closely with award-winning photographer Robert Shack.
I have always prefered informal photography, I believe in keeping things simple and organic. I try to use only natural light as I want my subjects to be as comfortable as possible- it has to be fun and a little bit different - but most of all it has to be about capturing the moment.
